Living Matter is owned and operated by George Close, serving Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle regions.

George holds a degree in Land management and has over 14 years’ experience in the landscaping and construction industry. George’s experience ranges from hands on site work to Construction and Project Management across both commercial and residential sectors.

An expert in field of vertical gardens and green roofs, George has a passion for bringing plants and natural elements into the built environment, which coupled with his background in conservation gives unique perspective and expertise in the landscaping arena.

In 2020 George launched Living Matter, a landscaping business dedicated to delivering high quality residential and commercial projects. Living Matter has stemmed from George’s passion for landscaping and the natural environment and operates on the premise of integrity, ingenuity and a love for the work that he does.

Living matter can deliver a multitude of landscape projects, large and small, and manage every aspect through planning, management and delivery phases.
